Duster SUV launched
French auto major Renault has launched BS-VI version of its popular SUV Duster in India with price starting at Rs 8.49 lakh. Pricing of the SUV goes up to Rs 9.99 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
The BS-VI compliant Renault Duster has three trim options on offer, which are RXE, RXS, and RXZ. The SUV gets power from a BS-VI 1.5-litre four-cylinder petrol engine that is mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. The engine churns out 106 PS of power at 5,600 rpm and 142 Nm of torque. No CVT petrol option is available for the SUV as of now.
Renault's Duster comes with a revised grille, updated headlamp cluster. Other exterior features include Kayak roof rails and 16-inch Everest diamond-cut alloy wheels.
Inside the cabin, Duster gets a couple of updates on the dashboard. The 7-inch touch screen infotainment systems is compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The car comes with features like multi-function steering wheel, automatic climate control, cruise control with speed limiter.
The SUV comes packed with safety features like Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Brake Distribution (EBD) with brake assist (BA). According to the reports, Renault Duster also gets airbags and seatbelt reminders for both - driver and passenger, rapid declaration warning and sensors for reverse parking
Reportedly, Renault's new SUV is available in different colours-- Caspian Blue, Mahogany Brown, Cayenne Orange, Moonlight Silver, Slate Grey, Outback Bronze, and Pearl White.
