Bookings open for Volkswagen T-Roc
German automaker Volkswagen has commenced the booking of its SUV T-Roc, which is set make its debut in April
The upcoming model of Volkswagen, T-Roc, will be powered by a 1.5-litre TSI petrol engine mated to a 7-speed DSG transmission. The BS-VI-complaint petrol head generates 148bhp of power and 250Nm of peak torque.
On the outside, the SUV exudes a bold stance. The new T-Roc features a bold twin-slat grille upfront, extended grille, LED headlamps with DRLs, cascading bumper, skid plate, bi-colored alloys, longish bonnet, and roof rail.
Under the hood
Apart from the keyless entry, The five-seater SUV is likely to get a cabin loaded with premium features like auto climate control, touchscreen with Nav and connectivity, leatherette seats and a panoramic sunroof.
For safety, T-Roc gets the ESC (electronic stability control) feature, six-airbags, ABS (anti-lock braking system), TPMS (Tyre Pressure Monitoring System) among other safety features.
On launch, the Volkswagen offering will take on the likes of Hyundai Creta, MG Hector, and Kia Seltos.
